Soldiers remove the bodies of three Taliban members from a bank after a shoot out with the police in Kabul, Afghanistan on Aug. 19, 2009. The gunmen seized control of the bank in the morning, engaging in a firefight with police before they were killed. The attack is part of a wave of violence that has hit the capital city, as the Taliban step up efforts to impede the presidential elections slated for Aug. 20.
